Our Story

RiPT Fitness was founded in 2015 by Dustin and Amy Carnish with a simple mission: bring people together and show that fitness is a way of life. For nearly a decade, they built the backbone of the RiPT community one rooted in connection, challenge, and support.

We are not just another facility; we are your training home base. Our supportive culture, built on accountability and connection, ensures you are never just another scan tag—you’re family. This legacy of care continues today as we deliver intentional workouts that lead to real, sustainable transformation

MEET THE CEO

PJ Moffat

I first joined RiPT in 2015 as a member. As a former Division I athlete staying home with two young daughters, I was craving competition, community, and a place to push myself again. RiPT became that place instantly.

In 2022, I joined the staff, and last May, my family and I took over ownership as Dustin and Amy moved on. Teaching is in my DNA (I hold a Master’s in Education), and RiPT gave me the chance to help people build confidence and make sustainable changes. As a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist, I know firsthand how important it is to prioritize your health—so you can show up for yourself and the people you love. RiPT is our second home, and I’m honored to help make it yours too.

Meet the Team

Our coaching team is the engine of the RiPT Fit Fam. Every coach brings unique expertise, high energy, and a competitive drive dedicated to helping you push past your limits and achieve your greatest potential.

Coach Cole

Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, NCAA) and former college football champion. Cole brings competitive grit and real athletic experience, specializing in coaching clients who are tired of putting in work without seeing results. When you train with Cole, you get a coach who believes in your potential and pushes you to reach it.

Coach Mary

An instructor since 2020 and a die-hard member for over nine years (logging 2,000+ classes). Mary knows what challenges people and how to keep things fresh and motivating, bringing high energy, push, and laughter to every session.

Coach Katie

ISSA Certified Personal Trainer coaching since 2020. As a former high-school distance runner, she learned discipline early, but strength training ignited her passion. Katie brings a signature mix of spunk and encouragement, helping people recognize their own potential and discover that fitness can be fun and empowering.

Coach Tim

Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach (NASM-CPT, PN-1). Tim is a former Ballet Dancer, current competitive Rock Climber, and retired Army National Guard soldier. He combines knowledge of flexibility, upper body strength, and discipline to help anyone realize they can achieve anything.

Coach Mike

A personal trainer since 2009. Mike brings high-energy encouragement, a cheerleader-style coaching vibe, and famously good playlists. His mission is simple: push people farther than they thought they could go—and make sure they’re having fun while they do it.
