20 Mar Benefits of Taking a Group Class
You’ve been doing the same old workout over and over again, day in and day out. You’re bored, lacking motivation and the scale hasn’t moved in months. The holidays are approaching and you are in full-on panic mode.
Believe me, we have all been there. Being stuck in a rut and unsure of what to do next is the absolute worst. But, there is an easy fix to your problem!
That easy fix my friend is…taking a group class! There are so many benefits to getting your sweat on with the best of them! Not only will you be motivated by those around you, just being around others can push you to go that extra mile and work that much harder.
When you workout alone, no one is around to hold you accountable and it becomes that much easier to skip exercises you don’t like, phone the workout in or cut your workout short. With group classes, that won’t happen. Not on our watch, anyway.
Plus, everyone likes a little bit of friendly competition. Right?
Once you sign up for a group class, you’ll be less inclined to skip your workout. Accountability is a powerful tool my friend. You better believe your trainer is going to notice when you don’t show up!
When you start going to group classes routinely, you are more likely to keep going!
Trainers are an added perk of taking a group class — they can push you, make sure you are doing the exercises safely and correctly and they can offer you guidance throughout the workout. Let’s face it, you’re going to get a better workout with a trainer than on your own, am I right? RiPT has certified and degreed trainers, which means you are without a doubt, in good hands.
Group classes give you structure. You sign up, the class is at a certain time and is a certain length. You can plan for it ahead of time and make sure it gets done. No excuses.
RiPT classes are just 45 minutes long and are led by the most educated and motivational trainers in Northeast Ohio. You have the ability to sign up at any time online or through your MindBody Connect App and make sure you don’t miss a workout. Plus, class sizes are small, between 12 and 18 people maximum in each class. When class sizes are smaller, you get more personal attention from the trainer and a quality workout. Sounds good doesn’t it?
And finally, but very importantly, group classes are FUN. It’s easy to feed off of the energy of those around you, you meet new people, make new friends and you get in shape while doing it! You get to share the challenge of the workout and the euphoria after each workout is complete with a group of other people.
What are you waiting for? No more excuses, it’s time to make a change for the better and have some fun! You really can’t go wrong taking a group class like RiPT.
